As a postman in the area, it's always nice to patron this location - which is always clean, inviting and has very friendly staff. Aleyah (sorry if misspelled) was extremely friendly, courteous and provided an exceptional service with a smile. She really went above and beyond for a simple order - would never expect that at any coffee shop. She's a real asset to the company. A

Love Jim and Patty’s! Such a nice spot in Forest Heights to kick back, relax and enjoy some freshly ground brews. Outdoor seating is enjoyable when the weathers warm. Friendly staff and owner. Will definitely be back and recommend to anybody who enjoys coffee and a relaxing atmosphere.

Came here this morning and got a dancing goat and hazelnut praline latte!! Madeleine made the sandwich perfectly with generous amounts of each topping and jessilyn made my latte beautifully with the right amount of flavor and silky steamed milk. Music was mellow and nice to listen to, furniture was simple and cozy. Love this place!!!

Fantastic coffee, a great stop! I'm not sure why this place has a low rating. I'm guessing because people in the area are adjusting to having a family owned business, instead of Starbucks. Starbucks has special machines that make coffee quickly with minimal skill required; while this place uses a traditional professional machine that can allow for latte art and high quality pours (unlike Starbucks). Yes, it's slower. But good things take time. Why you should love this place: the coffee is absolutely fantastic, the food/pastries are freshly made, the vibe is similar to before, and the staff are personable. I had a lovely conversation with the barista, who made my custom drink exactly how I wanted it. Expect efficient service, but not at the blistering pace of a coffee company that practically throws drinks at you and takes their food out of a plastic baggie. They have curated beans from Roasters you can shake the hand of, not mass produced plantation fodder. Give it a shot, I promise you grow to like it. Notes for owner improvement: I would try to sweep/wipe down tables more frequently. You have the staff for it and it would improve the vibe. I came at the end of the day, and there were plenty of crumbs (which to be fair is on messy customers, but ultimately your responsibility). Also, the shelving in the middle of the way somehow seems awkward, can't just walk right to the checkout. I would love it so the back of the shelves are flush with the armchairs and facing the fireplace, a 90 degree rotation from what it is now. There is a natural divot in the wood inlay of the floor where it could sit and not block the entry as it does now.

I LOVE going here! I went to other Jim&Patty’s in high school but this one is by far the best, I had the nicest interaction with a worker there, I think her name was aliyah, she was super friendly and gave great recommendations. I can’t wait to come back!

This independently owned Jim and Patty’s isn’t part of the chain that had to fold. The atmosphere here is great and the staff is really dedicated. Food is a step up from a typical coffee house afterthought. They have lots of well-spaced seating inside and a lovely outdoor patio.

Nice and cozy vibe. Ticked back in Forest Heights. Worth the short drive from the city center. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean store. I will return... Update: I returned. The Works Biscuits and Gravy with coffee was warm and delicious on a dark cold and rainy Sunday. I give it a 5/5! For the love of comfort food, it was perfection.
